Graceful, which is something that I am not whatsoever. Even at a young age, my mom could tell that I am a super klutz. But I've learned to live with it, and it helps to know that you're not alone.
Being clumsy can be painful and it can make simple a daily task a struggle, just like that. Sometimes it can even be painful, and you'll find bruises on yourself but you don't remember exactly how you got them. But for those of you who aren't clumsy, well first off aren't you lucky, and second it's time to shed a little light on how tough life can be when you're clumsy.
- Walking can put yourself in danger, every step you take forward can lead you to tripping over a curb, step or even your own feet. And don't you dare forget about slipping either.
- Wearing white is always a no, the chances of spilling something is almost always guaranteed.
- Actually anything you wear isn't safe, because you're most likely going to spill on yourself. And it will stain. You might as well just carry a bib with you at all times.
- What is balance? Because you have none. Walking in heels or standing on a bus or a train is just a bad idea.
- Taking photos with your friends and constantly ruining them, everyone else looks good and ready except for you.
- Always having phone problems. It's probably because you drop it constantly. Or even worse, a cracked iPhone, no screen protector can save you now.
- Objects seem to appear out of nowhere. You're walking and then SMACK. How's did this pole get here?
- Putting makeup or nail polish on takes longer because you have to be extra careful. We've all poked ourselves in the eye with our mascara, it's okay. And instead of painting your nails you end up painting your fingers.
- Dancing or sports are all fun and games until you end up hurting yourself.
- Meeting new people can get embarrassing. Do we shake hands? Or hug? Oh awkward wave it is.
- Opening food containers without spilling is basically impossible.
- Even furniture can be the enemy, whether you stub your toe on a chair or roll out of bed nothing can be trusted. Especially chairs that tilt backwards.
Not everyone can be graceful, some of us get called graceful ironically. Basically us clumsy people are our own worst enemies. For those of you who aren't clumsy, you are envied. Tell me, what's the clumsiest thing you do? I know I can't walk or balance to save my life. Until next time.
