One of the most popular Blogmas posts to do is The Christmas Tag. Within the past three years of participating in Blogmas, I have not done it once. I typically like to make guides and generic information posts for Blogmas, and the tag always seemed really personal. But this year, I was one Blogmas post idea short so there's no time like the present.

I found this Christmas Tag Game questions list on Root Report. Typically these questions ask about your favorite holiday related things and traditions. There are a total of 30 questions but today I'm going to answer a couple of these holiday themed questions!

As a kid, did a sibling ever receive a present that you wished was for you?

Honestly no, I have three way older brothers so all the things they got for Christmas were adult presents and I was still a little girl playing with Barbies. My brothers and I all have really different interests so there is never any jealousy when it comes to gift giving. Plus our Mom is the best at giving presents.

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I'm not going to lie, I do love getting presents. Everyone does! If someone tells you they don't like getting presents, they're lying. But, even though I hate shopping for gifts most of the time, if I know exactly what to get someone then I love giving gifts. There's nothing like watching the joy on someone's face when they open up a meaningful and thoughtful gift.

Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

Do I try to? Yes. Do I follow through? Maybe for the first month and then completely forget about them for the rest of the year. Oops. I'll try again next year.

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Not always, but this year my family is celebrating on Christmas Eve because it worked out best for my brothers' schedule. I did however always negotiate opening up one present on Christmas Eve and that worked every once and a while!

Have you ever made a snowman?

Yes! But never on Christmas. My family used to have a cabin in the mountains in Southern California and we would always go up in the winter time to see the snow!

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Real. My mom likes the real trees, however I wouldn't mind a fake tree. I tried to convince her one year to do it to help save the planet and it didn't go well. Plus we always get our Christmas tree flocked!

Use one noise to describe how excited you are for Christmas.

GAHHHHHHHHHH!

What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

My mom makes these special cookies only during Christmastime called Ta Das. It is an old family recipe that my great grandfather created when he lived in Italy. They are the most delicious cookie and are a perfect holiday treat, especially when you pair it with a coffee or hot chocolate.

What is your favorite Christmas film? What is your favorite Christmas song?

My favorite movie has to be Elf. You can't go wrong with this classic Christmas movie. As for song, I have always loved Last Christmas, but lately I have really loved listening to Christmas (Come Home)! Not going to lie, I've been listening to SiriusXM's holiday station, Holly, since November 1.

What is your favorite thing about Christmas?

It's cheesy but I have to say my favorite thing about Christmas is being together with my family. Since my brothers are all a lot older than me, they have lives of their own and don't live close by. So any major holiday is the main time we're all together. But Christmas overall is just a magical time and there are so many amazing aspects of it!

Whenever we think of holiday makeup, what's the first thing that comes to mind? For most people it's a red lip. And when it comes to red lips, there are so many options and variations of red. So here's a little guide to help you find you perfect holiday red lip.

The best thing to determine first is the type of lip product do you want to use. Do you want lipstick, lipgloss, chapstick, lip balm, lip stains, etc. There's so many different types to choose from.

The obvious first pick would be lipstick. Lipstick is traditional and timeless. But when it comes to lipstick you normally have a choice between satin and matte. Satin lipstick makes your lips glossy and shiny because most have a moisturizer inside. The one bad thing about a satin lipstick is the constant reapplication because it is not long lasting. However matte lipstick is long lasting but it does not moisturize your lips.

But if lipstick isn't your thing, try a lip stain. Lip stains are great because they're like a combination of lipstick and lip gloss. They have the same brightness as a lipstick but apply like a gloss. They're easy and quick to apply. They give your lips some color without lots of effort or blending.

If you don't want such a bright bold product then a tinted lip gloss or tinted lip balm may be for you. They're both simple products and are great for beginners when it comes to makeup or whenever you feel like being lazy when it comes to your makeup. Gloss can add a nice natural pop of color and shine to your lips. The only downside to gloss is that it can be really sticky. While balm moisturizes and adds some color to your lips. The only downside it that the color isn't always too bright, but better if you want to be subtle.

Now let's take a look at all the different kinds of red shades there are to choose from. There are many different shades when it comes to the reds. But here are just some generic color options. Because you know it would pretty much be impossible to list every single shade of red lipstick.

Red Wine. This color was a big trend this year and it's easy to see why. A nice deep dark red is perfect for when you want to add some drama and boldness to your lips. A red wine lip adds mystery and sophistication to your look. If you're attending any fancy Christmas parties, or if you want to show off how fashionable and on trend you are, a red wine lip might be right for you.

Dark Red. A color similar to red wine but sometimes wine just isn't dark enough. But sometimes dark red can be hard to pull off. Since it is so dark, some us wonder if we look too much like a vampire or witch. But if you own your darkness and are bold enough to pull off such a dark color why not! If not, I say stick with the wine.

Bright Red. This is the most basic red and most popular red to use during the holiday season. A bright red is a basic red and it is probably the best red to try out first. It's a good practice red for beginners, especially if you want to graduate to the darker reds. The bright red is perfect beginner color to wear at a special occasion.

Ruby Red. The ruby red is my favorite red. You would think ruby red would be really dark red or bright. But what I noticed is that most ruby reds have a pinkish tint to them. So for us girls who love pink lipstick, the ruby red was made specifically for us. The red and pink tint of the ruby red screams fun and flirty rather than bold and elegant. The ruby red is perfect for more intimate and casual gatherings.

Red Orange. Red orange lipstick is a fun shade to wear but it can be hard to pull off since it is such a bold color. But if you want to stand out and are the most confident girl in the room red orange may be the color for you, because you know everyone else will be wearing dark red or wine. So stand out and be loud and proud with your red orange lipstick.

The lottery, people buy tickets hoping for a chance of instant wealth. But did you know you have a better chance of being struck by lightning rather than winning the lottery? Not too sound like a Debbie Downer, but everyone's chances to win are very slim. But for a select and lucky few, they become millionaires overnight.

When someone gets that amount of money in a short amount of time, they end up looking like the emoji on the left and end up blowing all their money on frivolous things. Even after winning the lottery, some people quit their jobs and plan to live off their winnings.

What some people don't realize is that they won't actually get all the money. Let's say the lottery jackpot is what $500 million total? You'll end up owing millions in taxes and you won't get the total $500 million, it might end up only being around let's say $300 million. But I will say $300 million isn't too shabby either.

But did you know there's an option on how to recieve your lottery winnings? You can receive the entire amount once OR you can receive a portion of your earnings yearly and that lasts for about 30 years. Most people who decide to get the full amount up front end up spending all their money in a short amount of time. So if we want to be financially responsible human beings, wouldn't it be the best idea to get the yearly option?

Honestly, if I ever won the lottery I'd take the yearly check. But since I don't participate, I'll never have to make that decision. But that doesn't stop me from thinking about what I would do if I ever won the lottery...

First: I'd be responsible, I wouldn't quit my job, especially if I love my work. I'd also pay off any debt that I owe, so that way I have a nice clean slate, financially of course. I'd obviously pay any bills I owe, and take care of any financial burdens. Then any of the left over money would go straight to my savings account.

Second: I'd be generous and treat my family and friends to something nice. I'd buy my parents a really nice vacation or house, whichever they would prefer. I'd get my brothers some cool gifts, like I don't know Apple Watches or the next hot gadget on the market at that time. Then I'd take out my good friends to a five star meal or maybe I'd get them presents. I don't know just a little thank you to all the people who had been there for me and to show them how much I love and care about them.

Third: As the great Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle said on Parks & Recreation, "Treat Yo Self." I'd buy myself a nice place to live, a vacation, and everything else I need to be a fully functioning adult. Obviously, I'd splurge and buy a hand bag or two, maybe some shoes, and I'd definitely update my wardrobe too. Like Tom and Donna said, treat yo self.

Even though I don't participate in the lottery, I still think about what I would do if I won. Haven't we all done that, at least once in our lives? But we shouldn't rely on winning the lottery to solve our financial problems or to achieve wealth. Instead, we should work for what we want. And maybe having too much money isn't always the best. Look at all these celebrities with oodles of money. They spend all their money on the dumbest things because they have so much they don't know what to do with it all.
